Dental Views in Los Angeles is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventive care, educate patients on oral health, and support dentists in delivering high-quality care. This role emphasizes patient comfort and satisfaction and requires adherence to infection control standards.

The RDH will perform prophylaxis and scaling, take dental X-rays, conduct screenings, and help maintain records while fostering a positive patient experience in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• State-registered Dental Hygienist.
• Minimum 1 year of RDH experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Take and process dental X-rays (digital or traditional).
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and evaluate patients for signs of oral diseases.
• Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive materials.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care techniques.
• Review and document medical and dental histories.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and charting in compliance with dental practice standards.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure operatory cleanliness between patients.
• Assist the dentist during examinations when needed.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.

Education
