Job summary

ProGrin Dental in Greer, SC is seeking a compassionate part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. You’ll perform thorough cleanings, radiographs as needed, apply fluoride, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support the dentist to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

We offer a competitive hourly base starting at 45 with potential to earn 65 per hour through bonuses, accrued PTO, paid birthday off, floating holidays, uniforms, mentorship, and referral

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an ADA-accredited program.
• Current state licensure and CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year of clinical hygiene experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleaning, including scaling and root planing.
• Take and process radiographs as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist and document findings to support care.

Compensation

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough dental cleaning, including scaling and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and chart findings.
• Take and process radiograph X-rays as required.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist in identifying and documenting potential areas of concern
• Providing oral hygiene education and preventive care.
• Conducting thorough oral health assessments and charting findings.

You're a Great Fit If You

• Have associate degree or bachelor's degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
• Have current state licensure, CPR certification and one year of clinical hygiene experience.
