**Key Responsibilities:**

• Perform clinical procedures including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, root planing, sealants, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene importance, instructions, and demonstrations
• Communicate with doctors about restorative and periodontal needs
• Review and update dental and health histories for all patients

**Qualifications:**

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and valid state license
• X-ray/Radiology Certification (state regulations)
• Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification (state regulations)

**Working Environment & Physical Requirements:**

This is a clinical environment with potential exposure to hazardous waste and bloodborne pathogens. Requires prolonged standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours daily. Must be able to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment, and lift up to 15 pounds.
