Ohio Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist in Cincinnati, OH and surrounding areas to provide dental care to underserved children at their schools.

Our innovative in-school dental program offers a different experience than traditional practices, with a workday ending with the school day, no nights or weekends, ideal for working parents and those wanting to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license
• 1+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, willing to travel to schools
• Good with children and adults
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist with oral health management, team player
• Verify patient identity before treatment
• Obtain oral health assessments
• Review medical and oral health history
• Provide prophylaxis, sealants, fluoride applications
• Assist dentist as directed
• Provide oral health education and counseling
• Document services accurately
• Travel to school sites daily
