Description

Dr. Wendy Spektor, of Spektor Dental, a practice partner of Mosaic Dental Collective, is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join their dynamic dental team. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the success of our practice and the overall oral health of our patients.

Wage: $30-$36 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: 4 days a week, varied days.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, surgical, exams, and cleanings. Prepare and arrange dental instruments, materials, and medications as needed.
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering questions. Obtain and record dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, sterilize and disinfect instruments, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper patient positioning and safety measures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
  • Manage patient records, update treatment plans, and assist with scheduling appointments.
