Job description

Our office is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join us full time! We're looking for someone who is tidy, organized, and personable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of patient care. Strong multitasking skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Current office hours:

Monday: closed; receptionists alternate coming in to come in for a few hours to answer phone calls and perform other clerical duties

Wednesday: 8 am - 5 pm

Saturday: 8 am - 1 pm (only once a month)

Sunday: closed

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for each patient.
- Prepare for and assist the dentist in a variety of clinical procedures, including restorative and cosmetic procedures.
- Pour models and perform necessary lab work.
- Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment following OSHA and infection protocol.
- Take dental x-rays.
- Provide pre- and post- operative instructions to patients.
- Support the front desk and other team members to ensure smooth office flow.

Requirements:

- Active RDA license in the state of NJ (if you do not have an active RDA license, but have an active x-ray license we still invite you to apply)
- Active x-ray license in the state of NJ
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Prior experience in a dental office preferred
- Familiarity with digital x-ray systems and dental software preferred
