You will perform radiographs, sterilize instruments, manage records in Dentrix, educate patients, and help with scheduling in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of dental assisting experience.
Must be proficient with Dentrix software and patient records management.
X-ray/Radiography Certification required.
Infection control standards knowledge required.
CPR and BLS certifications preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment per infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Manage patient records using Dentrix and update medical histories and treatment documentation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering to ensure efficient operations.
Support scheduling and patient flow to optimize clinic productivity.
Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Pay

$18 - $25 per hour
Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Requirements

License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Infection Control License
Software Experience: Open Dental, Eaglesoft
Certified or Registered Dental Assistant credential required
Proficiency in Dentrix dental software is essential
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control standards
Ability to take and process dental X-rays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
