Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists during exams and treatments, maintain charting and radiography, and ensure efficient operatory flow. You will engage with patients, uphold HIPAA standards, and contribute to a positive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Texas issued Registered Dental Assistant license required or pending
• Sealant placement, nitrous monitoring, and coronal polishing certs preferred (2+ years may qualify for company courses)
• Digital x-ray and digital charting experience required
• 1 year+ dental experience required

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting and verify codes
• Capture quality x-ray images
• Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms
• Discuss treatment options and follow-up care
• Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement (with certs)
• Support with appointment scheduling as requested
• Sterilize instruments and follow cross-contamination standards
• Create positive patient environment and engage patients before, during and after visits
• Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions
• Assist patients with prizes and dismissal
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
