Northern Valley Indian Health in Red Bluff, CA is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant to support chairside procedures and ensure efficient patient flow. Under Lead RDA supervision, you will perform four-handed assisting across endodontics, surgery, pedodontics, and prosthodontics, maintain infection control, and help with imaging and sterilization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California RDA license required.
• Coronal Polish Certification preferred.
• Radiation Safety Certification or course to be completed within Introductory Period.

Responsabilités

• Perform four-handed dental assisting for endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, prosthodontics and restorative procedures.
• Under dentist supervision, perform RDA duties per NVIH policy and CA licensing guidelines.
• Perform dental imaging (intraoral and extraoral) for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
• Prepare, sterilize instruments, set up trays and maintain infection control.
• Stock and store all supplies; maintain equipment including sterilizer and x-ray dosimetry.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and preventive care; document exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked operatories and assist in preventive community activities.

Formation

High School Diploma or GED

Registered Dental Assistant license (CA)

Coronal Polish Certification
