Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current California Registered Dental Assistant license is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an RDA in general dentistry.
• Graduate of an accredited RDA program or proven proficiency.
• Coronal Polishing certification and Radiation Safety certification.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, sterilize instruments, and set up trays for procedures.
• Takes and records medical/dental histories and vital signs.
• Takes digital dental radiographs and mounts images.
• Takes impressions and creates study casts as needed.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and restock supplies between patients.
• Provide postoperative instructions and patient education.
