Qualifications

• Current California Dental Radiation Safety (X-Ray) Certificate.
• 1–3 years of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist during procedures and input doctor treatment plans into charts.
• Provide chairside assistance during general dental procedures and anticipate provider needs.
• Take diagnostic-quality dental X-rays within permitted scope and document images.
• Assist with suction, isolation, instrument transfer, and material preparation.
• Turn over and disinfect operatories promptly to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Enter required clinical information and support chart/documentation in Open Dental.
• Maintain stocked operatories and communicate supply issues.
• Independently provide chairside assistance for general and more complex procedures.
• Support intraoral scanning, impressions, and clinical photography.
• Drive efficient clinical flow by minimizing room turnover time and helping keep providers on time.
