Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance and anticipate provider needs during procedures.
• Take diagnostic-quality dental X-rays within scope and document images.
• Assist with suction, isolation, instrument transfer, and material prep.
• Turn over and disinfect operatories to maintain patient flow.
• Enter clinical information and support charting in Open Dental.
• Maintain stocked operatories and communicate supply issues.
• Independently assist for general and complex procedures.
• Support intraoral scanning, impressions, and photography.
• Help minimize room turnover time to keep providers on schedule.
