Position Details

• Shift: Day Shift
• Type: Full-time
• Department: CC015060 Dental Clinic
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in patient care and education on oral hygiene.
• Perform patient care, laboratory duties, and work chairside during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare patients and dental records, assist with instruments, and maintain a sterile environment.
• Take dental x-rays, process films, and ensure equipment functionality.
• Maintain dental records and assist in patient education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited college or technical school approved by the AR State Board of Dental Examiners.
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification from the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners.
• Entry level position; no experience required, but 1 year pediatric experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications like CPR and CPR-related credentials are recommended.
