Compass Dental in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a talented Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in a flexible, on-site role. You will assist dentists chairside, prepare and sterilize instruments, take radiographs, and educate patients on oral care while maintaining patient charts in our management software.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas RDA license, radiography certification, and are comfortable with a flexible schedule and front-office support when needed.

Formación

• Active RDA license in Texas.
• Current Dental Radiography certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience as chairside dental assistant preferred.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental/Eaglesoft/Dentrix).

Responsabilidades

• Assist dentists chairside during restorations, extractions, and preventive care.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories per infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene.
• Record patient treatment information and update dental charts in the software.
• Cover front office as needed and support scheduling and patient flow.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering.
• Cross-train to support front desk when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, and preventive care
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist
• Educate and guide patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Record patient treatment information and update dental charts accurately in practice management software
• Support front office and clinical team as needed in a flex capacity across scheduling and patient flow
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
• Cover front office as needed, schedule appointments

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification in the state of Texas
• Current Dental Radiography certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous chairside dental assisting experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar)
• Flexible availability and willingness to adapt to varying schedules and office needs
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first, compassionate attitude
