Job summary

Smokey Point Smiles Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist, ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience, and maintain a clean, sterile environment. You will assist with procedures, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral care.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma (GED) and state-mandated certifications.
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Licensure or registrations as required by state dentistry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency.
• Support a perfect patient experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to deliver efficient care.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral photos as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
