Job summary

The Dental Office of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist and help patients receive the best possible care. You will gain valuable experience by working with a team of experienced professionals and learning new skills.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment, taking X-rays and intra-oral photos, maintaining a clean and sterile operatory, and educating patients on oral health care. The role emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patients' needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors for efficient care
• At the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate
• At the direction of the dentist, instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc)

Education
