Job summary

Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to provide chairside support, patient care, and education. You’ll assist doctors, handle imaging, and maintain accurate patient records to ensure a smooth, 5-star patient experience.

The position requires an active RDA license, at least 1 year of dental office experience, and optional bilingual English/Spanish skills. Expect full-time hours with alternating Saturdays across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active RDA certification & RDA license required at time of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during procedures and patient care.
• Record patient medical history for dentist reference.
• Perform dental imaging including x-rays and impressions.
• Manage patient records and dental charting.
• Prepare instruments and assist with clinical procedures.
• Educate patients on dental care practices.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and sterilize instruments.
• Assist with front office tasks as needed.
• Travel to alternate locations for coverage.
