This is an unbenefited position that includes a 10% incentive on hourly wage.

General Purpose

The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is responsible for performing all duties legally allowed in the state of California, including assisting dentists and providing patient care.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform duties with general supervision, such as inspecting the oral cavity, charting lesions, restorations, and missing teeth, and placing/removing temporary sedative dressings.
• Perform duties with direct supervision, including pulp testing, sizing stainless steel crowns, placing post-extractions and periodontal dressings, coronal polishing (if certified), sealants (if certified), and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain flexibility to work at various Ampla Health sites as needed.
