Job summary

Elite Dental Care in Trenton, TN is seeking an energetic Registered Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team. You will work closely with dentists to deliver high-quality care and maintain a smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include four-handed dentistry, radiography, infection control, and accurate documentation, with a focus on patient comfort and safety. This role offers growth within a supportive, team-driven office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience required.
• Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with Nitrous Oxide certification required.
• Tennessee Radiology Certification required.
• Active CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Coronal Polishing certification preferred (but must be willing to obtain).

• Assist the dentist chairside during restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide post-operative care instructions.
• Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms in compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
• Prepare clinical documentation, impressions, models, and manage lab cases; use digital scanning for prosthetics.
• Participate in morning huddles and maintain open communication with front-office staff.

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team in Trenton, TN.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our dentists to deliver high-quality clinical treatment, ensure seamless patient flow, and maintain the highest standards of safety and care. Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using smooth, four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Patient Care & Communication: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions.
• Operatory Management: Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms before and after procedures in strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Diagnostics & Radiography: Take crisp, accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.
• Lab & Records: Prepare clinical documentation/notes efficiently, take impressions, pour and trim models, and manage lab cases accurately. Use digital scanning technology to increase patient satisfaction for prosthetics.
• Team Collaboration: Participate actively in morning huddles, maintain proactive communication with front-office staff, and support team flow throughout the day.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience required. General dentistry experience is highly preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License with Nitrous Oxide certification required.
• Tennessee Radiology Certification required.
• Active CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Coronal Polishing certification preferred (but must be willing to obtain).
• Clinical Skills: Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, dental software systems, and infection control protocols.
• Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, reliable work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and a commitment to exemplary patient care.
