Job Description

Registered Dental Assistants perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The primary role of the RDA is to assist the dentist in providing the best possible treatment with urgency. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment
• Participating in the Perfect Patient ExperienceÔ
• Maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment
• Completing x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instructing patients on postoperative and oral health care
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with required training courses for certification or licensure
• Applicable certifications/licenses as mandated by state
• Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent education and experience
