Job summary

Bubble Kids Dental is seeking a full-time or part-time pediatric dental assistant to join our private practice in Rosenberg, Texas. You will perform chairside assisting, take digital radiographs, chart notes, and maintain a clean, efficient clinical area.

Requirements include CPR/BLS, RDA/CDA certification, Open Dental experience, and 3+ years of pediatric dentistry experience. Bilingual Spanish is a bonus and will be valued in our diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• CPR and BLS certification required.
• 3+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Proficient in pediatric dentistry.
• Licensed/certified as RDA or CDA.

Responsibilities

• Take digital radiographs and charting in patient records.
• Chairside assisting and patient education during procedures.
• Sterilization, set up/break down, and maintain clinical flow.
• Maintain professional appearance of clinical areas.

Pediatric Dental Assistant

Relatively new office with state of the art equipment. Privately owned with a family feel. Fun, fast paced environment.

Pay

• $17 - $22 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• Weekends only
• Flexible schedule

Looking for a full time RDA to work Monday Through Friday, as well as one rotating Saturday a month. Also looking for a part time RDA to work on Wednesdays and every other Saturday

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• Software Experience: Open Dental
• Clinical Experience: Emergency Dentistry, General Dentistry
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 3+ years of practice

Must be proficient in pediatric dentistry. Chairside procedures include fillings, extractions and space maintainers, and pulpotomies and crowns. Responsibilities to include taking digital radiographs, charting, note taking, sterilization, set up and break down, and coronal polishing. Pit and Fissure Sealant certification and Coronal Polishing certification a plus.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): taking digital X-rays, charting, entering notes into the computer, chairside assisting, sterilization, maintaining a professional appearance of clinical areas, providing patient education, maintaining flow, and setting up and breaking down. Bonus if you are bilingual Spanish, have coronal polishing or pit and fissure sealant certifications.
