AppleOne Employment Services is assisting a Valley Center, CA-based healthcare organization in its search for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). This temporary, full-time role supports a patient-centered dental team with general and specialty procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient clinical care.

The position offers $28–$33 per hour depending on experience, with potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Dental Assistant experience required.
• Graduate of an RDA or Dental Assisting program.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization, HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA.
• Strong patient care, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and general or specialty dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and dental materials for efficient clinical care.
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards in accordance with clinical requirements.
• Provide patient education and support a positive, organized patient experience.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and safety guidelines.

Job description

A mission-driven healthcare organization in Valley Center, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for a temporary opportunity supporting a patient-centered dental team. This onsite role is ideal for an experienced RDA who enjoys providing high-quality clinical support, assisting with general and specialty dental procedures, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, $28 to $33 per hour DOE, Temporary Assignment with potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
