Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment to treatment with urgency.
2. Participate in delivering the Perfect Patient ExperienceÔ by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
3. Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment; prepare patients and assist the dentist for efficient, quality care.
4. Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
5. Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
6. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following ADA guidelines.
7. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and privacy regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; relevant training courses as mandated by state.
• Certifications/licenses required by state (e.g., radiograph exposure, coronal polish).
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
