Job summary

Diamond Braces is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our fast-growing orthodontic team in Bethpage, NY. You will work alongside our orthodontists to deliver outstanding patient care and support daily clinical operations.

Starting pay is $25.00+ per hour, with opportunities for growth, training, and internal advancement. We welcome both experienced orthodontic assistants and general dentistry transitions who are motivated and reliable.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Dental Assistant (state requirements apply).
• At least one year of dental experience.
• Reliable with excellent attendance.
• Positive, coachable, and eager to learn.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photos and impressions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments.
• Sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Document clinical notes accurately.

What You'll Do

As an Registered Dental Assistant, you'll work side-by-side with our orthodontists to deliver exceptional patient care while helping create confident, healthy smiles.

Your responsibilities include:

• Taking digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photos, and impressions
• Preparing treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments
• Sterilizing instruments according to OSHA standards
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Documenting clinical notes accurately
• Fabricating Essix retainers and assisting with laboratory procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Licensed as a Dental Assistant (state requirements apply)

Has at least one year of dental experience

Reliable with excellent attendance
