Job summary

Melissa Modern Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist, ensure patient comfort, and uphold sterilization standards. You will work with a team using modern dental technology to deliver a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment, taking x-rays, intra-oral photographs, and maintaining a clean, compliant clinical environment. A supportive team culture and opportunities for CE units are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in good standing.
• Experience in general dentistry and patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to secure patient commitment for the best possible treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA, OSHA and state regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
