Job summary

NGUYEN FAMILY DENTAL PA is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA and has at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

• State-licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with at least two years of experience.
• Associate’s Degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Proficient in patient data entry and dental software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.

• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Schedule appointments

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
• Previous experience as a dental assistant
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
