Job summary

Dental Practice of San Bernardino is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide top-notch dental care, assist the dentist during exams and procedures, and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA and has at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure is required.
  • Prior experience as a dental assistant is expected.
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care is required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
  • Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions.
  • Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
  • Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
  • Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
  • Schedule appointments.

Education

Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure
Previous experience as a dental assistant
Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
