Job summary

Cibolo Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for an energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our supportive team. We value every member of our team and seek individuals who are passionate about helping children smile.

As a key part of our clinical team, you will assist during pediatric procedures, take digital X-rays, and maintain accurate patient records. We offer a friendly environment and excellent benefits including 401(k) matching and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong four-handed dentistry skills.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures.
• Take digital X-rays, impressions, scans, and dental records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

As part of our clinical team, you'll help create an exceptional experience for every patient while working alongside our doctors and team. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
• Taking digital X-rays, impressions, scans, and dental records
• Preparing treatment rooms and patients for procedures
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene and treatment plans
• Helping keep the clinic running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service

Required:

• Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Strong chairside and four-handed dentistry skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• A positive attitude and team-first mindset

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Model pouring and impressions
