Tots to Teens Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics (Culebra) is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will support the orthodontists by taking X-rays, impressions, records, preparing patients, and assisting during procedures while upholding strict sterilization and record-keeping standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RDA experience, Texas RDA licensure, current BLS, and familiarity with Open Dental.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Texas RDA licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Proficiency in chairside and four-handed dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Take patient x-rays, impressions, and orthodontic records.
• Prepare patients and assist the orthodontist during procedures.
• Bond brackets and scan images.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.

About the Role

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play an essential role in supporting our orthodontists and ensure each patient has a positive experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Taking patient x-rays, impressions, and orthodontic records
• Preparing patients and assisting the orthodontist during procedures
• Bonding brackets and scanning images
• Cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Maintaining accurate and organized patient records

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
• Proficiency in chairside and four-handed dentistry
• Strong clinical and technical dental assisting skills
• Active Texas RDA Licenseli>
• Current BLS certification
