PDS Health in Azusa, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join Azusa Modern Dentistry and support the dentist in delivering excellent patient care. You will help create a welcoming environment, take radiographs, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain sterile environment and assist dentist.
• Proficiency with intra-oral x-rays and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to obtain patient commitment for treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory; follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate; sterilize instruments.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$22.00-$30.75 / Hourly
