Qualifications

• ARRT registered radiographer; CT certification within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams and ensure procedural quality.
• Support professional growth through mandatory/continuing education.
• Use medical terminology accurately within the Imaging Department.
• Mentor and support less experienced staff.
• Work as a team player to meet Imaging Department needs.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. What you will do in this role:

• You will prepare patients for CT exam, explains procedure and ensure technical quality.
• You will promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education.
• You will possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.
• You will serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/student.
• You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree
• ARRT Registered Radiographer required, certified/licensed (CT) must be obtained with in 6 months of employment
• One year of experience minimum required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
