Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered CT Tech at Gouverneur Hospital. The role involves coordinating CT procedures, mentoring CT staff, and upholding safety and regulatory standards.
The Senior CT Technologist will work with radiologists and leadership to ensure high-quality care, assist with general radiology workflow, and adhere to NYS DOH and ARRT guidelines. Evening, weekend, and on-call shifts are included as part of the schedule.

SCHEDULE: Evening, Variable shifts in between the hours of 5pm-330am, Weekend rotation requirement, On-call requirement
The candidate will be responsible for the daily coordination of the CT modality to include routine and interventional procedures and maintaining staff skill levels appropriate to needs of the section, for all worked shifts. The Senior CT Technologist will provide training and skills assessment (peer review) for all staff working in CT. As an essential function for this modality the Senior CT Technologist will communicate with radiologist and department leadership on a routine basis to insure a high level of care and service for patients and to meet provider needs. In addition to CT, this position will be responsible for assisting with general diagnostic radiology workflow. This is in accordance with approved techniques, policies and regulatory standards as established by regulatory agencies, standards and policies set forth by the organization. The candidate will be required to adhere to the professional standards of the NYS Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
