Rochester Regional Health's Gouverneur Hospital seeks a per diem Radiologic Technologist in Medical Imaging to perform diagnostic radiology procedures and assist radiologists in fluoroscopy and special examinations, following established techniques and standards.
The role requires NYS licensure and ARRT registration, BLS within 3 months, and availability for 10-hour shifts, weekends, and overnight on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Gouverneur Hospital DEPARTMENT: Medical Imaging SCHEDULE: As Needed; Variable 10-hour shifts, including 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM; availability to cover weekends, as needed, required. On-Call Coverage: Candidates must be available for overnight on-call coverage from 2:30 AM - 7:00 AM on a rotating basis.
Performs diagnostic radiological procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards as established by the radiologist, governing and professional bodies. Assists the radiologist in fluoroscopy and special procedure examinations. Performs administrative duties as set forth by policies and procedures.
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS within 3 months of hire. Licensure/Certifications Required: New York State Department of Health Licensure, Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) UNION: 1199 SEIU (GH) Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. $34.02 - $49.47 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
