Job summary

PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital this fall and seeks a Registered Dietitian to shape patient care from the start. You will plan regular and modified diets for all ages, visit patients, and counsel on nutritional needs as part of a collaborative care team.

You’ll participate in hospital and community education programs, contribute to Quality Improvement efforts, and support a patient-centered nutrition program in a dynamic rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with active RD credential and state licensure.
• 3 years of clinical experience preferred; rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Routinely visit patients and counsel on nutritional needs.
• Participate in hospital, patient and community education and outpatient programs.
• Assist with maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
