Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to plan and oversee patient nutrition programs. The RD will work closely with Medical Staff to customize diet plans and provide patient counseling across ages, contributing to education and community programs.

Licensure as a Registered Dietitian is required; 3 years of clinical experience is preferred, with rehabilitation experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian licensure (RD) and state license to practice dietetics.
• Experience in clinical nutrition preferred, rehabilitation experience a plus.
• Strong counseling and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Visit patients and provide counseling on nutritional needs; participate in education programs.
• Assist with department QA/QI plan and ongoing education initiatives.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experiences a plus.
