The ideal candidate will have the necessary registrations and licenses, along with three years of clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration, licensed to practice Dietetics in the state.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed.
• Counsel and educate patients on nutritional needs.
• Participate in hospital and community education programs.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs, participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs, and assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Education and Training

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.

Experience

• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experience a plus.
