Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to plan regular and modified diets for patients of all ages, as prescribed by Medical Staff. The RD will routinely visit patients and counsel them with their nutritional needs.

The role involves participating in hospital, patient, and community education programs, and assisting with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.

Job description

Shifts will consist primarily of Wednesday-Fridays. Weekend coverage as needed.

The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff. Functions include routinely visiting patients, counseling patients with nutritional needs. Participates in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs. Assists with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

• Education and Training: Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• Experience: Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Rehabilitation experience a plus.
