Job summary

The role requires a degree in Ultrasound Technology, 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience, ARDMS/CCI certification, and BLS. Work will involve direct patient imaging and collaboration with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology required.
• 1 year of experience in Cardiac Ultrasound required.
• DCS, RCS, or RDMS through ARDMS or CCI required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography exams including TEE and 2D/M-Mode with color Doppler.
• Captures and analyzes images of the heart to assess structure and function for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for exams and ensure proper ultrasound equipment function and safety.
• Document exam details and collaborate with physicians and nurses to inform patient care plans.
