Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a Registered Echocardiography Technologist to perform imaging procedures that aid in diagnosis and treatment, following radiology practice standards. Must be ARDMS/CCI registered or eligible, with BLS certification within 14 days of hire; recent sonography experience is preferred.

You will document findings and maintain clean, safe work areas. The role requires teamwork with the radiology department and ongoing adherence to performance

Qualifications

• Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI or new graduate awaiting registry.
• Proof of registry/certification required within 12 months of graduation.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following BMG protocols.
• Completes required documentation to comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a neat, safe condition for patient and staff safety.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Completes assigned goals.
