Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) with Certification to serve clients in Hudson County. The role involves implementing BCBA-created behavior plans, reducing target behaviors, collecting data, and communicating progress to supervisors, BCBA/BCaBA, and families.

Ideal candidates have experience with K-12 students and hold an RBT Certification. The position offers weekly compensation and flexible scheduling as part of a broad network of client opportunities.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with clients with developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. Their responsibilities include:

• Implementing behavior plans: RBTs implement behavior plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients change their behavior and address specific challenges.
• Behavior reduction: RBTs use approved protocols to help clients respond more appropriately to different situations and stimuli.
• Collecting data: RBTs observe clients and document their responses to different stimuli to create data for BCBAs. This data can include information about skill acquisition, targeted behaviors, and how the client responds to interventions.
• Communicating: RBTs communicate with their supervisor and BCBA/BCaBA to provide updates on client progress and challenges. They also explain treatment plans and progress to clients and their families.
