If supporting and mentoring children and adolescents is your passion, then you’ll enjoy being a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at our private Day School located in Landenberg, PA. You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:

1. Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment
2. Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
3. Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting
4. Deescalate and mitigate behaviors

You will be offered:

1. Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52-week year-long position)

2. New Pay rate: $24.00 - $27.36/hr (based on experience)

Devereux Day Academy is a private academic school program located in Landenberg, PA, licensed to serve students in grades K-12 with primary disabilities such as Emotional Disturbance, behavioral and cognitive differences, autism, intellectual disabilities, and speech and language impairments. The curriculum aligns with Pennsylvania Core Standards and partner district curricula, emphasizing differentiated instruction, evidence-based strategies, and rigorous learning expectations. Each student has an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), developed and reviewed by a multidisciplinary team including parents or guardians, focusing on skill development and positive behavior support through PW-PBIS, a system promoting positive behaviors and creating safe, supportive environments.

Qualifications

• Education: RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or adolescents preferred

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

• Must be at least 21 years old
