Job summary

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare in Edison, NJ, seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support youth and families. You will visit clients at home or in the community, implementing interventions from the Individual Support Plan and promoting independence.

The role offers flexible hours (2–20 per week) with afternoon shifts after school and weekend options, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
• Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
• Must pass all state and federal background checks
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with at least 1 year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Visit clients at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth
• Implement and develop interventions from the Individual Support Plan
• Conduct environmental arrangement and proactive strategies
• Support acquisition of functional skills (including Activities of Daily Living)
• Help reduce problem behaviors and document progress
• Submit visit notes promptly following each session per guidelines
• Ensure compliance with service authorization timelines
• Participate in required training and adhere to agency policies
• Provide in-home, in-community, and in-center services as needed

Who is Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare:

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Serving the state of New Jersey. We are looking for Part Time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) to join our team!

A RBT will visit the client at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth. Our RBTs typically work 2-20 hours weekly in 2-4 hour shifts starting after 3 pm during the school year and as early as 8:30 am during the summer. Services are available any day of the week to accommodate the scheduling needs of our clients.

• Will work with both Respite Care and Behavioral Assistant cases
• Implement and develop interventions from the Individual Support Plan:
• Environmental arrangement.
• Proactive strategies
• Acquisition of functional skills (Including ADL’s - Activities of Daily Living).
• Reduction of problem behaviors.
• Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines
• Compliance with service authorization timelines.
• Crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention.
• Follow and implement agency policies.
• Participate in required training.
• In-home, In-community, In-center (Orange Twp).

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), you must at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
