Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services in Warminster Heights, PA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support students in 1:1 or small-group settings during the school day. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, following behavior intervention protocols and collecting data to track progress.

The role requires a high school diploma, active BACB certification, 1+ year of experience, and strong communication skills. PA drivers license and clearances within a year are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 40-hour RBT training completed as evidence by BCBA/BCaBA.
• Active BACB certification.
• At least 1 year of experience providing behavior technician services; 2 years preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Snapshot: Full-time (M-F, 8-4) immediate opportunity for the school year

RBT Essential Functions

• Provides direct support to student(s) in 1:1 or group setting in accordance with IEP/PBSP and under the supervision of BCBA.
• Follows the behavior reduction and behavior skill acquisition protocols.
• Collects, records, and maintains data based on students’ behavior.
• Communicates with students’ educational team.
• Assists BCBA/BSC with FBA’s and skill acquisition.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent AND completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list as evidenced by BCBA or BCaBA; AND

Active certification through the BACB, AND

At least 1 year of experience providing behavior technician services; preferred 2 years, AND

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to think strategically and work under pressure

Active PA driver's license, clearances within 1 year of hire (PA Criminal Record, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprinting through the Dept. of Education, TB).
