Job summary

Skyward Spectrum provides in-home ABA therapy services in Georgia and is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver direct therapy for a client based in Appling. You will work 1:1 with children, following BCBA-guided treatment plans and collaborating with families to support progress.

This role offers part-time and full-time schedules; the work occurs in home, school, and community settings with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT Certification preferred or willing to certify within 30 days.
• Compassion and patience toward children with disabilities and families.
• Technologically proficient with Apple and/or Android devices.
• 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children.
• Punctual, professional, and reliable.
• Must have personal transportation and be willing to travel.
• Clear background check and drug test.
• Must lift 35 pounds and move in home environments.
• Ability to move about the child's home and engage in ABA therapy.
• 12+ months of ABA experience preferred; experience with challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy.
• Implement the treatment plan created by your BCBA supervisor.
• Travel to client homes.
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement ABA teaching procedures.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill data and log hours accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings.
• Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time.
• Take detailed session notes.

Schedule:

• Part-time (daytime or evening) and full-time positions available

• Work a standard schedule Monday - Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option

• Flexible availability

Work Setting:

• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.

• Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.

• Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).

• 12+ months of ABA experience working with children with Autism

• Experience working with challenging and aggressive behaviors, as well as mental health

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy

• Implement the treatment plan created by your BCBA supervisor

• Travel to client homes

• Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

• Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.

• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings

• Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time

• Take detailed session notes
