Job summary

Skyward Spectrum is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA therapy in Evans. The role involves delivering 1:1 instruction, implementing the BCBA-designed plan, and traveling to client homes in a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday with weekend/evening options.

The ideal candidate has high school education, RBT certification preferred (or willingness to certify within 30 days), and a compassionate, patient demeanor. Transportation and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Compassion and patience when working with children with disabilities and their families.
• Technological proficiency; familiarity with Apple and/or Android devices.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children.
• Punctual, professional, and reliable.
• Empathy, integrity, and positive upbeat energy.
• Personal transportation; ability to travel to client homes.
• Clear background check and drug test.
• Able to lift 35 pounds.
• Able to stay seated for 50% of the time and move around to engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with ABA therapy.
• Implement the treatment plan created by the BCBA supervisor.
• Travel to client homes.
• Work with a BCBA supervisor to implement teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill data and log hours and data accurately.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Communicate with parents and BCBA to improve treatment over time.
• Take detailed session notes.

Overview

We are looking for a Behavior Technician that's available to work in Evans. The clients schedule is Mon, Thu, and Fri, from 1pm to 5pm. Optional to start at part time and move to full time.

Skyward Spectrum provides in-home applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services. We are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) to provide direct therapy services to clients.

Schedule:

• Part-time (daytime or evening) and full-time positions available
• Work a standard schedule Monday - Friday, and/or choose a weekend/evening option
• Flexible availability

• Needs to move about the child's home, playground or natural environments to engage in ABA Therapy with children.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs/ladders to engage children in gross motor activities.
• Must be able to position self on the floor to engage with children during activities.
• Experience/Education in field such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. Preferred (preferred).
• 6 months of ABA experience working with children with Autism (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Implement the treatment plan created by your BCBA supervisor
• Travel to client homes
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
• Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and input into an electronic device, logging all hours and data accurately.
• Attend Monthly Staff Meetings
• Communicate with parents and with BCBA to improve treatment over time
• Take detailed session notes
