The RBT plays a vital role in supporting preschool-aged students in a classroom setting. Under the guidance of school and teacher, the RBT will help facilitate instructional activities, therapy session management, and various day-to-day tasks that foster a positive and engaging learning environment.This is a hands-on, in-person role where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with young learners while supporting their growth and development. This position is available through the end of the school year.Key Responsibilities:- Work 1:1 with children in school or clinic setting
- Implement ABA-based treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote learning and independence
- Collect and record data to monitor client/student progress
- Collaborate with school and clinical teams to ensure success
- Support day-to-day classroom activities, including games, playtime, meals, and biological needs.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to support and reinforce learning activities.
- Assist in managing and shaping student behavior using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Provide auditory and visual monitoring of students in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, organizing, and duplicating materials as needed.
- Help maintain student discipline in the teacher's absence.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a neat, organized, and welcoming learning environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Required: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Experience working with children in ABA therapy, childcare, education, psychology, or a related field
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Reliable transportation & willingness to travel locally to assigned school site/s
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to actively engage with clients, sit on the floor, go from sitting to standing unassisted and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Previous professional experience working with children (required).
- Passion for working with preschool-aged students in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
Position Details:- Compensation: Competitive pay at $32 per hour.
- You will be traveling between different school sites
- Duration: This position is 3-5 days a week, available through the end of the school year.
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per week.
