Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities in in-home and in-community settings.

The role involves implementing BIPs, collecting data, and collaborating with teachers and staff to support students’ progress. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and RBT certification is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
• RBT certification is required or in place.
• Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.
• Assist students in engaging and participating in class.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and staff regarding progress and plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

• Assist students in appropriately engaging and participating in class.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an educational setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)
