Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Registered Behavior Technicians in the Fairfax County area of Virginia. You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with BCBA and therapists, and communicate regularly with families to support home and community goals.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience with children ages 2–21 or current undergraduate study in psychology or related field, and RBT certification. Travel to assigned cases and data collection are part of the job.

Qualifications

  • Passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
  • 1–2 years of experience with children 2–21 in supervised setting.
  • Undergrad program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
  • ABA experience preferred.
  • RBT Certification from BACB is required or in progress.
  • Be self-motivated, a team player, patient and professional.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; comfortable in home-based settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA instruction per BCBA教育 plan.
  • Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
  • Communicate with families by providing debriefs and home/community resources.
  • Collect daily data and maintain the child's program book weekly.
  • Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.

We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community, and clinic settings. Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Registered Behavior Technicians
Hourly Rate:Up to $27 based onavailabilityandexperience
LOCATION: Cases Available Throughout Fairfax
County
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
  • Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
  • Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations
Requirements

Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!

  • At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting

OR

successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or a related field

  • Experience using ABA preferred
  • Holds RBT Certification from BACB
Other Requirements
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor
  • Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!
  • Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • The ability to climb and descend staircases
  • The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
  • The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the interview process.
