Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a part-time, hourly Registered Behavior Technician to support ABA services in the Greenwich/Stamford area. You will work with children aged 2–21 in home, clinic and community settings under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities include direct ABA instruction, participation in team meetings with BCBA and other therapists, frequent communication with families, daily data collection, and maintaining confidentiality per state and federal rules. RBT certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 2–21 in supervised settings.
• Holds RBT Certification from BACB.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.

• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and resources to use at home and in the community.
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Registered Behavior Technicians

LOCATION: Cases Available Throughout Greenwich/Stamford area

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

Requirements

Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!

• At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting
• Holds RBT Certification from BACB
• Experience using ABA preferred

OR

• successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field

Other Requirements

• Must be self- motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor
• Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!
• Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation is determined based on experience and education, and will be discussed during the interview process.
