Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a part-time Behavioral Technician to deliver 1:1 behavioral therapy in a clinic setting under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on teaching communication, self-help, and social skills while tracking progress and maintaining confidentiality.

The position offers part-time hours with eligibility for medical benefits and a collaborative team environment in the Columbia area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with six months of prior health care experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple locations daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a clinic setting.
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide feedback regarding progress to supervisor.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient information.
• Work effectively as a team contributor and coordinate with management and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a clinic setting

• Understands and adheres to company’s policy and procedures


• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information


• Work effectively as a team contributor on all interactions and assignments


• Work independently while understanding the importance of constant communication and coordinating work efforts with management and staff


• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, plus a minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care environment


• Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis

Salary Range

USD $15.00 - $20.00 / Hour
